Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

Sign up with Opinion Outpost to take paid surveys and complete product testing assignments in exchange for rewards. Simply join the site for free and receive invitations to complete online surveys on your computer or mobile device.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.
• Retail gift cards - with 100 points ($10) in your account, you can receive a gift card to Nike, Domino’s Pizza, The Home Depot, CVS, Chili’s 3-Choice and more.

Note that rewards will vary slightly by country. For example, Air Miles Reward Miles are available to Canadian members only (receive 50 Air Miles for 100 Opinion Outpost points).

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

Opinion Outpost is over a decade old and is a legitimate survey site that pays approximately $5 million dollars in rewards to its members every year. I have been taking surveys with Opinion Outpost for many years but last thursday they froze my account. Anyone that has dealt with this company for any length of time knows that Opinion Outpost is known to do this to members much of the time for bogus and non existent reasons which they will never explain or give details about.
The only question is when and not will they freeze your account. I contacted them and they said they would get back to me which they never did so I contacted the BBB in CT where there are located. They would not even file the complaint since I had filed a complaint several years before about the same issue so I will be contacting the only helpful organizations I have left the Attorney Generals Office and Consumer Affairs.
They also owe me $9.20 that I had in my account which I will be fighting to get since I earned it.
My advice when using Opinion Outpost is cash out every time you get to the minimum $5 for AGC or $10 for paypal otherwise your money may get frozen for ever in their account and the BBB is in my opinion a disgrace when they REFUSE to file your complaint as they did mine.

I've been a member for almost four years and accumulated quite a bit in earnings but when I tried to log in last weekend I saw a message that said "Your membership has been terminated as a result of the violation of the OpinionOutpost Terms and Conditions. For questions, please contact [email protected]".

I've contacted OO several times but they just repeat "the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity has been flagged" message and ignore any requests to provide specific information.

I have always completed surveys accurately and in good faith so I'm livid that they can treat people in this way.

Coincidentally, I had the same problem with my iPoll account at the same time - and with the same vague allegations that "the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity has been flagged".

To me, it looks like SSI (the parent company of iPoll and OO) just want to cull people out of their programmes without having to pay them a bean by accusing them of violating the T&Cs, which is despicable behaviour.

My first problem with opinion outpost was when I participated in an in home use study and never received my incentive. I only received my incentive when I went to the actual company to say that I never received my incentive and only then was my opinion outpost account credited. The second incident just happened. I reached the $10 to cash out and when I tried to I got an error message that my account had been flagged for fraud. After two weeks, I finally received a response back from them stating that my account has been permanently suspended. No explanation given and ironically at the same time I was due a $35 payout from another in use test. I plan on reporting them to whoever I can until I get my $45

My favorite survey site. Usually interesting surveys and they pay GOOD. If I was younger I probably would complete more as they seem to kick me out more often after a certain age was reached .Still by far the BEST..
