Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You also have the option to add additional information (via profile surveys) to help Opinion Outpost match you with more relevant surveys to you.

Sign up with Opinion Outpost to take paid surveys and complete product testing assignments in exchange for rewards. Simply join the site for free and receive invitations to complete online surveys on your computer or mobile device.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Sometimes, you’ll be disqualified from taking the survey after answering these, however there will usually be other surveys available for you to take.

Modern, Interactive Surveys

Opinion Outpost offers fun, interactive online surveys that are attractive and simple to take. Opinion Outpost App

Opinion Outpost does not offer a mobile app. Although most of their surveys are mobile-friendly and can be completed on your phone, you will still need to access them via your e-mail, or by logging into the website from your phone.

Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Find the "refer a friend" tab when you log into your account to grab your custom referral link to share with friends or extended family members (available to US panelists only).

Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

Opinion Outpost is over a decade old and is a legitimate survey site that pays approximately $5 million dollars in rewards to its members every year. Many of their surveys will disqualify you after 10 minutes of questions. Surveys that do qualify say 10 minutes and have taken up to 1.5 hours for 10 points which is nothing. Several times after 25 minutes the surveys stop working and when you refresh they kick you out even though you've answered 95%

I have been a member of Opinion Outpost for over 10 years and I love it! This survey site allows me to give my opinion on many different subjects and i get rewarded for it. This gives me my "mad" money and I don't have to worry about buying books like mad.

I have been using this site for some time now. The good news is that there a lot of surveys, and payment is very fast. The bad news is the fact that they have a habit of letting you complete an entire survey BEFORE disqualifying you! It is possible to spend 30 minutes completing a survey, reaching the end, then being told that one is disqualified. It really calls into question the honesty of the site and/or the survey companies.
Their other problem is the fact that their site has more "technical difficulties" than any other I have encountered, often resulting in members not getting credit for surveys completed. Member support will get back to you, but their answer is usually some canned policy, with occasional promises that you will be credited in about 4 weeks, with the stipulation that YOU remind them if this doesn't happen. It seems to me that it is the panelists job to honesty complete the surveys, and THEIR job to handle the rewards, without having to be reminded.

Well they just lost another star in my review. As of 7/17/2012, they seem to have lowered the amount of points awarded per survey by 20%. One wonders if the company is in financial trouble, or is just getting greedy at the
expense of loyal panelists?

Update, June 2017: In the last 3 weeks my account has been frozen twice, without reason, reinstated twice, with no explanation, and now, frozen again when I attempted to cash in my points. I am not alone, as there are nearly 200 similar complaints on Facebook, many from panelists who are owed money. Comments from members are answered with "canned" and repetitive meaningless answers. Customer service takes phone messages which do not get returned. Clearly, this panel has some SERIOUS internal problems. It is to be hoped that they solve their problems, treat their panelists fairly, and with respect. They DO need to realize that without panelists, they will not have a panel at all. Don't waste your time with this panel, at least until such time as they can solve their problems, instead of making them yours.

Jan 8th, 2018...Opinion Outpost is doing it AGAIN! My account, (and those of many other panelists) have been FROZEN. They will not redeem existing earned points, nor even let me into my own account.

They are getting their survey info during the "screening" process to see if the the survey applies to you. The first time I didn't qualify, I was like it's cool, I get it. But I have not qualified ONCE. If I did quality the survey had ended or they had enough participants. I never actually took one single survey, but they got my time and a lot of info on me! Save yourself the time and feeling of being duped and ROBBED and do not bother with this one.

I was a member of this panel for a very long time, loved it and always recommended to my friends. I got my account terminated one time with no reason several years ago, but they checked and reactivated it, again, with no explanation. Since then I didn't have any problems until this year October. Every time when I am trying to access their surveys I receive the same message that I am not able to proceed. Submitted multiple tickets. My tickets are poorly responded after several follow ups... Responses are not informative, same text in each ticket. Looks like nobody even reads my questions...When I switch to my mobile data I can use the website again, but it's not accessible from my home computer and my home Internet connection. Do not know how to rate it. When it works, it's perfect, but when issue comes up it's hard even to get a proper answer from their customer service team. Phone number indicated on the website doesn't work. Very disappointed.
