Opinion Outpost gives everyday consumers the opportunities to participate in online surveys and product tests in exchange for cash rewards and gift cards.

Signing up is free and to do so, simply enter your name, date of birth, zip code and email address on the registration form on their website. After that, you’ll be prompted to confirm your email address before you’re able to begin answering surveys.

Take Surveys and More

Once you've fully registered, you’ll see a “Surveys” link on your main account dashboard. This will take you to your list of available surveys. You can choose to have surveys emailed to you if you prefer.

You don't have to wait long to get rewarded - if you take a survey worth 50 points, you'll already have enough to redeem a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The following reward options are offered on the site in exchange for participating:

• PayPal payments - with only 100 points (worth $10/£5), you can request that a PayPal payment be made to your account. Bear in mind that only verified PayPal accounts will qualify for payment.
• Amazon e-vouchers - with just 50 points ($5) in your account, you can request an Amazon.com e-gift code.
• Apple Store gift cards - with 100 points ($10) sitting in your account, you can request an app store / iTunes gift card.

Super-Fast Rewards Delivery

Opinion Outpost is very unique in that rewards are often delivered instantly after requesting them. It's uncommon to have to wait more than a few minutes/hours to receive a PayPal payment or e-gift card that you've requested, though technically they advertise a 3 day rewards processing period.

Take Surveys Often

Paid surveys will be sent to you on a regular basis. You can also visit the website, log in and find a list of available surveys, giving you plenty of chances to make cash. A typical Opinion Outpost survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and the number of points you can expect to receive per survey ranges between 5 to 50 points.

Qualifying Questions

Before you begin your chosen survey, you may have to answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These may appear to be irrelevant to the topic of the survey itself, but are a way for researchers to ensure they're receiving responses from the people they're looking for answers from. Badges

Opinion Output offers ‘Badges’, which essentially serve as loyalty bonuses. You will start out with a Bronze membership and have the chance to upgrade to Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond based on how active you are on the website and how complete your profile is.

As your badge levels increase, additional achievement points are awarded, which can be found on your Survey History page. These will show up as 'community achievement'. Bear in mind that you can be downgraded to a lower tier badge if you don’t remain active on the website.

Quarterly Chances to Win $10,000

If you are in the USA and you get disqualified from a survey, participate in a survey, or exchange your valuable points for an entry, you will have a chance to win $10,000 in a quarterly cash draw. That means that $40,000 in total is awarded to 4 lucky members every year! If you are in Canada, there are also sweepstakes available in the form of 4 quarterly draws worth $1,250 each ($5,000 yearly).

Refer Your Friends to Earn More

Opinion Outpost's referral program will award you $1.00 every time you refer a friend using your custom link and they complete at least one survey. Earn up to $5.00 in total. Is Opinion Outpost Legit?

I'm so frustrated with this site. I would successfully submit reviews and my points wouldn't show up. I contacted customer service and no response (accept the initial automated one...). Another huge issue is spending between 5-15 minutes taking a survey to be told at the end I don't qualify and therefore no points. Waste of my time.

I used opinion outpost for many years. It was great years ago. It has really went down hill. Long surveys for less pay than before. Oh not to mention that you have to use time take a survey before the actual survey. I dont know if the company is low on cash or simply does not care about the time that people spend. Many times also when the survey is complete after 30 or 40 minutes, it will say that study is full and not pay. It used to be a great site. But now it is trash.

I have been doing surveys for Opinion Outpost for many years and liked doing so. Last week I redeemed my rewards and received a message saying my account had been terminated as I had breached the terms and conditions of the account, I hadn't done anything wrong. I emailed the help desk but haven't received a reply nor have I received my rewards. I have read a few reviews on survey police about Opinion Outpost and I think they must be in trouble. I have since emailed them again telling them they can keep my reward, they are obviously more in need than me.

This was looking to be a survey with a decent payout but after a month I was flagged for "data issues". I contacted "support" and I was accused of a transgression that was not even in their terms and conditions policy they copiously referenced. They have decided to not respond back with a clear explanation.

I have filed a complaint with BBB with the parent company. I noticed they have no reviews but over 111 complaints. It's now over a month since I've placed my complaint and it has been ignored.

One Activity that triggers account suspension is just attempting a survey on a different network, like going to a coffee shop. Their algorithm is so poor it equates any change in location to fraud.

If you decided to use this survey company, claim your earnings frequently or you risk losing it.

I have been a long time member of this site (2003) as well as Survey Spot, Opinion World, I Poll and Quick Thoughts. About a month ago all my accounts were frozen or terminated as I was told I have more than one account. NOT TRUE!! I was sent a list of 4 email addresses that I do not know. Have been waiting now today I am being told that I must be taking surveys outside of my home, am not or someone else is using my computer. I live alone so not possible and only take surveys from my home. I am really disappointed by this turn of events, I have always enjoyed taking these surveys, not only for the incentives and now to be told this with no further action from these sites or SSI is just unbelievable. So beware. I am sad to believe that they can not do anything about this and guess I will have to cut my losses
